José Claasen

Jose is a Namibian entrepreneur and multidisciplinary artist whose work spans photography, graphic design. and web design. His creative journey began in 2018, shortly after completing Grade 12, when he discovered his passion for photography. This early interest in visual storytelling led him to pursue a Diploma in New Media Design at the College of the Arts, which he completed in 2023.

Jose began his professional career as a Junior Graphic Designer at Beso Media and now serves as the Graphic and Social Media Manager at the Namibia Arts Association. Alongside his design and media work, he is expanding his expertise in curatorial practice and collection management, deepening his engagement with cultural preservation and the broader arts sector.
